WICA by EPAWI aims to create an organization (Wine Innovation Cluster Alliance) that promotes cooperation between solution providers, research centers and public institutions, at a global level, in order to direct private and public resources towards priority needs of the wine sector. 

Climate change and varying market dynamics are introducing new challenges and modifying priorities in production needs.

It is imperative that the limited economic and human resources available for innovation be directed toward providing the most needed solutions. 

Researchers, innovative companies and institutions allocating public grants need to know which topics to invest in.
