THE MEDITERRANEAN WINE CHAIN IN THE FACE OF CLIMATE CHANGE: A PROJECT PERSPECTIVE FOR ITALY

The Fondazione Edmund March organized a MEDCLIV Kick-off in Italy to introduce the project. This Kick off was an online meeting on the 22nd October 2020 and the topic was "THE MEDITERRANEAN WINE CHAIN IN THE FACE OF CLIMATE CHANGE". About seventy participants attended to this event.

The different parts of this webinar are:

  • A Presentation of Adapt2Clima project by Marco Mariondo, CNR - IBE
  • A presentation of the problems related to the Origin Denomination and the certification for wine by Valoritalia, a leading certification company in Italy, by Giuseppe Liberatore
  • A presentation on how to limit the impact with circular economy in the wine production, by CAVIRO cooperative estate - Rosa Prati
  • Medcliv project presentation by Emanuele Eccel, Fondazione Edmund Mach, leader of project MEDCLIV.
