The Institute for Bioeconomics– IBE– was born on 1 June 2019 from the merger of the Institute for Biometeorology (IBIMET) and the Institute for the Valorization of Wood and Tree Species (IVALSA) which over the years have developed expertise and complementarity in the strategic area of the bioeconomy.
IBE is a research institute of the CNR (Consiglio delle Nazionale Ricerche ).
