"NORTH ADRIATIC" book presentation by Paul Balke and a round table of experts tackling climate change issues in the vine and wine sector
National Institute of Chemistry, Slovenia in collaboration with other partners of the MEDCLIV project (Mediterranean Climate Vine & Wine Ecosystem) organized an international online event which was held on June 10, 2021:
Presentation of a new book by Paul Balke: ''NORTH ADRIATIC''
The book covers the cross-border area of Slovenia, Croatia and Italy and presents it as one terroir with common climatic conditions, viticultural traditions, and history.
The presentation was followed by a round table entitled “Opinions and measures on climate change in the vine and wine sector. A view on the future” where experts from Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy debated about these pressing issues and possible adaptation measures.
